Flex Badges are molded rather than stitched. They create a smooth, dimensional surface with crisp lettering and defined borders. They are useful when a customer wants the appearance of a structured badge or nameplate without a traditional metal badge or fully embroidered surface.
Ordering and Production
Flex Badge pricing and minimum quantities depend on the size, shape, colors, attachment method, and total quantity. Most approved custom projects should allow approximately 4–6 weeks after payment and final artwork approval. Contact APS for the current minimum and a project-specific quote before planning an event or required delivery date.
How the Process Works
- Send your badge, logo, nameplate, sketch, reference photograph, or written concept.
- Provide the size, quantity, colors, preferred attachment method, shipping destination, and deadline.
- We review whether the artwork is suitable for a Flex Badge and prepare pricing.
- You receive an artwork proof showing the shape, colors, lettering, and dimensional details.
- Production starts after the final proof is approved.

We may recommend simplifying very small elements or increasing the badge dimensions so names and identifiers remain readable. Clear front-facing artwork produces the best starting point, but finished vector files are not required for an initial review.
